Liturgy is the joyful work of the people made possible each Sunday by the following groups:

  • Special services include: Blessing of the Animals, All Hallow’s Eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Holy Week & Easter Vigil

This ministry of Christian education seeks to nurture and deepen the connection between love of God and the love of our neighbor, equipping the saints of all ages for ministry in the world. Education programs include:

  • Sunday morning Adult Forum
  • Wednesday Morning Bible Study
  • Sunday Morning “God and Doughnuts” Youth Forum
    (middle/high school)
  • Sunday School (preschool/elementary)
  • Sunday Morning Nursery (babies/toddlers)
Children making crafts
  • Youth Group
  • Inquirers’ and Confirmation Classes
  • Small Group Study and Fellowship
  • Special offerings for Advent and Lent

Ron Parnell, Vestry Liaison

Parish Life supports the ministry of fellowship and community building within our parish family. Highlights of activities include:

  • Open Doors in parishioners’ homes once a month for fellowship, food and building friendships
  • The Episcopal Church Women
  • The Loaves and Fishes Gang—volunteers who support parish receptions for funerals, bishop’s visitation, etc.
  • Intergenerational Events: All Hallow’s Eve Family Fun Night, The Greening of the Church, Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Supper in cooperation with other parish groups
  • Progressive Dinner in May
  • Senior Luncheon

Outreach seeks to extend the hands of Christ in mission and ministry to our neighbors, both local and global. Ongoing outreach ministries include:

  • Community Helping Others (CHO): Ecumenical social services organization addressing food, housing, and transportation needs
  • Project WORD: Advocacy and community resources for the physically and mentally challenged
  • Diocese of Kinkiizi, Uganda: Supporting seminarian and youth education
  • Diocese of the Dominican Republic: Supporting daycare centers, school and camps for all ages
  • Vienna Elementary School Partnership: School supplies, tutoring opportunities, and special projects for children in need
  • Seasonal Food Baskets: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter
  • Iliff Nursing Home: Friday weekly communion service and pastoral visitation
  • Fannie Mae Walk for the Homeless
  • Region V Diocese Activities
