At Church of the Holy Cross, Parish Life is about connection, joy, and supporting one another through every season. Whether you’re sharing coffee after Sunday services, walking beside someone during life’s milestones, or asking deep questions about faith, you’ll find a warm and supportive home here.

Formation

Throughout the year, Holy Cross offers opportunities to learn more about our God, our faith, our world, and ourselves. Whether it’s our weekly Bible Study, a weeknight class, a book group, or a speaker from a ministry partner, we strive to provide spaces to wonder and ask questions about how God is working in our world. Through these conversations, we discover together how to navigate our challenging and complicated world with faith, hope, and love.

Fellowship

Whether it’s the Holy Cross Day picnic, our annual Epiphany Game Night, the Pancake Supper our Youth host, or one of our retreats to Shrine Mont, fellowship is at the heart of the Holy Cross community. These intergenerational opportunities form deep connections that sustain our faith and help us all grow into the people God created us to be. There are also gatherings of the OWLS (Older, Wiser, Laughing Souls) our senior ministry, where storytelling and mirth abound, or our Women’s Ministry, where we share life’s joys and challenges. No matter the gathering, small or large, we hold one another in prayer and inspire one another in faith.

Service to the Church

Service to others is central to our understanding of discipleship, and we know that God gives God’s people a variety of gifts that come from the Holy Spirit. Some at Holy Cross use their gifts to serve our church community - by helping to lead worship, caring for our beautiful property, managing parish finances, or supporting our children and youth. Others use their gifts to help those in need in our broader community. We work to be a community that celebrates all of the gifts God gives God’s people, and to help everyone find ways they can love their neighbors as themselves.
