Outreach and Mission Partners
At Holy Cross, we seek to be Christ's hands and feet in the world, serving those in need in our community and beyond. We do this by partnering with established programs that are engaged in improving the lives of those in need and respecting the dignity of every human being. Here are some of the ways we strive to serve Christ in all persons, and love our neighbors as ourselves.

Embry Rucker Shelter
Every other month we make sandwiches for The Embry Rucker Community Shelter.

Comfort Cases
Each year, we gather donations of personal care items, and backpacks which are then filled and delivered to Comfort Cases HQ.

Tanzania Porridge Program
Each Lent, we gather monetary donations to provide meals for students at St Augustine’s Primary School in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

Red Wagon
We collect shelf stable food items in the Red Wagon which are donated to the food pantry of a local Title 1 School.

Lamb Center
Parishioners donate shampoo, soap, and other personal care items to be delivered to the Lamb Center, a day shelter in Fairfax County.

Second Story
Each year we provide boxes of groceries for Thanksgiving meals to support teens in crisis through Second Story.

Fairfax County Baby Boxes
Between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day we put together baby boxes with donated newborn necessities to help support families in need in Fairfax County.

Angel Tree
Around Christmas time, our Angel Tree allows parishioners to purchase gifts for local families in need.

CHO Christmas Store
Our youth group goes Christmas shopping at the end of the year for gifts to be donated to the CHO Christmas store.
